
Manny Neves Jr. has been involved in the Martial Arts since 1973 at the age of nine years old and started fighting at age twelve. He earned two black belts in the Tae Kwon Do and Kenpo Karate. He was a competitor in Boxing, Kickboxing, Thai-Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts.
In 2007, he became the World Light Heave Weight Champion in Thai-Boxing. That same year he was inducted into the United States Hall of Fame. Manny just recently retired with a 112- 12 record, a total of 124 fights.
Since 1983 he has been a gym owner, and owns and operates the Elite MMA Training Center in Lincoln, RI where he manages and trains over 300 fighters. Also, he conducts fight seminars all over New England.
In 1987, he promoted his first pro fight show. He has all sold out shows in venues such as; LeRoy Theater, Lynch Hockey Arena. (The 1980's were all Kickboxing shows). Manny started promotions MMA shows in 1999 in Pal Building in Pawtucket and Bobby's Rollerway. In 2000, Rhode Island realized what MMA was, and put a ban on the sport. That's when I.C.E. started promoting all shows out of the state. The last few years I.C.E. has been a full time operation, averaging 6 shows per year and attracting the biggest crowds all over.
David Hayes is a 47 year old entrepreneur for over 30 years, with extensive training and knowledge in Mix Martial Arts. He holds 4 black belts and has been involved with Martial Arts his whole life. David also volunteers his time in community service; chairing the Hope Foundation and attending a medical mission every January in which he helps bring medical supplies and medical attention to those who are in need. David has been doing this for 10 years. He also mentors younger teens from the Met School. He is a father of 3 children; a son in law school, a daughter in pre-med and the youngest in his last year of high school.
